AudioPal: This is a free way to embed an audio message in your blogs, wikis, facebook, websites, etc. You can do it in 4 different ways:
- Record by Phone
- Text To Speech (You can choose from several voices)
- Record By Mic
- Upload Audio File
What a COOL way to build in a little bit of accessibility to your online content like class blogs, school newsletters, etc. Immediately coming to mind is the parent who contacted me last year, who was blind and unable to access her child’s school newsletter. Build in some audio prompts for your students! This could also be used as an alternate response method for some of your students! Definitely worth checking out: www.audiopal.com
Pogo Boards: “Pogo Boards: AbleNet Edition is the world’s first all-in-one, full-featured, robust, web-based, board-making solution.” The light version of this board creating online software is FREE! Definitely worth a look! I hope to play with this more next week and post some detailed thoughts.
